Birthday Boy

Friday night we had Landon's birthday party. Now that he is getting older, it's getting a tad more challenging trying to figure out what we are going to do. I am sure that we won't be planning too many more parties, just more simple things, sleep overs, and Dart Warz!

Dart Warz is an indoor Nerf gun place. Landon's been begging to go, even better since it was his birthday, so we planned his party there. It's nice because you have to be 5 to play. And the party included 11 kids.

You can bring your own gun, or rent one there. Then you get briefed with all the rules and get your vest and safety goggles.

Then it's to the arena.

It's a big open room with places to hide in and behind. There is a DJ up top who runs it, they play music do the time. And there are also other workers so if you get hit you sit out. Each round is like 4 minutes, then they start over.

They got to play for an hour. They LOVED it and weren't ready to be done.

WE got the party room for 30 minutes. We got Dominos and had cake. Then had a few minutes to open gifts.

I think the party was a huge success and all the kids were talking about wanting to go back already!

Hey Stranger!

It's been a while, a LONG while. I've Just been busy and I kinda lost interest in blogging. I mean I enjoyed it, but it was starting to feel like a chore. Nothing is fun if it feels like a chore! Am I right?

We've been up to A LOT! I love being super busy. It's also super tiring, throw in a 2 year old, and things get just plain exhausting! I will start with just some pictures. And I will try my hardest to blog, if not daily, then every few days. If you don't see a blog. REMIND me. I am SO forgetful sometimes.

Landon finished football a few weeks ago. He fell in love with it. He is already asking to play again next year, and still practices outside any chance he can get. His coaches were great, def what he needed.

We went to the Mile High Farm and Pumpkin Patch in Denver one weekend. The kids had a BLAST! There was a ton of things to do from a huge corn maze, corn to play in, tire swings, petting zoo, tractor rides, small town to explore, pumpkins and snacks. The weather was overcast and perfect for us.

Owen LOVED these old tractors, I mean LOVED them. He did not want to get off.

Owen and his buddy Josh stood at the chickens forever, I'm not really sure why, but they ended up coming back, and pointing and talking. So funny.

I think the corn was everyone's favorite. They played in it for a while and all came out super dusty and with corn kernels in pockets, shoes and diapers!

And today it's cold and snowy, a balmy 3 degrees but feels like -14. WOW!
