We've had a pretty relaxing and boring day today. Nothing much really going on. We went to the Commissary and that was that. Finally this afternoon I asked Greg if we could go some where so we went to Academy to look around. Greg grilled some chicken, I made corn on the cob and beans. We turned on the news while cooking dinner and they were talking about the drought again. It's so bad! It made me sad because they said that farmers are having to sell their livestock because they can't feed them. We got less than an inch of rain in the month of June, which is one of our wettest months. It's so crazy that the poor people in North Dakota are having floods, and here we can barely get a drop of rain. Please please please pray that we get some rain.
On a happier note, I want to share some more old photos from the Germans.
Greg when he was born!
I LOVE this picture. It makes me laugh so hard! Check out Kenny (Greg's dad on the right). He is SO wearing a cut off shirt with some short shorts. SOOO funny. He kinda reminds me of the brother on Napoleon Dynamite, the one who wants to play football. I think that was his brother.
Greg with his family at the beach. Not sure what beach...
Greg sitting on Opa's lap!
Greg sitting on Oma's lap..with something in his mouth!
Check out the expression. Happy Birthday Greg!
Greg on the high school football team. Yokota Panthers! (Yokota Air Base, Japan)
Greg's dad, I think it's one of his military photos. Boot camp one? Not sure.
Again, I LOVE all the old photos. They are so FUN to see.
Hope you had a great weekend. Send some rain this way if you are getting any :)
